Adeel Afzal

Adeel Afzal is a professional engineer (P.Eng. and M.Eng.) and project management professional (PMP) with 28 years of global transmission experience. He has been involved in projects with transmission line voltages up to 500 kV AC and +/- 600 kV HVDC; short tap-lines and long transmission lines up to 1,500 km; greenfield projects, brownfield modification, upgrades, up-rating, and retrofitting; generation connections, mining, and other load connections; regional interconnections; and long-span water crossings. The bulk of his experience has been for overhead transmission lines, but he has also worked on substations (up to 287 kV), submarine cables (up to 345 kV), and underground cables (up to 132 kV).
