Jim Sarvinis

Jim holds global responsibility for Hatch’s Energy sector, which serves our clients in the following industry segments: hydropower and dams, eGRID, nuclear, thermal, and oil and gas. Jim, who joined Hatch in 1995 with a technical background in nuclear and thermal power generation, leads transformative energy projects worldwide.  

His commitment to positive change is evident. He has been heavily involved in the development of new technologies and first-of-a-kind projects. Jim has provided consulting and engineering services related to both brownfield and greenfield projects. As a project sponsor, he provides services to utilities and independent power producers around the world and is currently sponsor for the engineering of a large flood control scheme in Peru. In addition, his influence extends beyond projects. Jim actively contributes to sustainable energy initiatives, serving on the advisory board for the University of Toronto Institute for Sustainable Energy.
