Varun Chhibbar

Varun is an electrical engineer with over 17 years of experience based on working at a utility, OEM, and consulting firms. He has worked on several projects which involved HVDC & FACTS, protection and control studies, specification development, tender evaluation, design review, IEC 61850, factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and project engineering. He has also been involved in the integration of large projects into a utility and provided support through to operations including development of replacement strategies and lifecycle plans. His experience also includes the evaluation and deployment of a multi-vendor IEC 61850 based protection and control system involving station bus and process bus.
