Sophie Alrhieh

Sophie is the regional manager for hydropower and dams in Ontario, bringing twelve years of experience across both the hydropower and nuclear sectors. Her academic background includes dual bachelor degrees in architectural engineering from Tishreen University in Syria and in civil engineering from McMaster University. Presently, she is enriching her expertise by pursuing a master of science degree in civil engineering, focused on data analytics, machine learning, and systems architecture.  

Sophie is passionate about the application of these learnings to tackle today’s challenges in the hydropower industry.
