The power sector is entering a period of unprecedented growth and transformation. Rising electricity demand, expanding data centre development, increasing electrification, and significant infrastructure investment are reshaping the energy landscape and creating new opportunities, and challenges, for the industry. Topics in the current agenda include transmission expansion, large-scale project delivery, energy storage, and load growth driven by electrification and data centres.

For 57 years, the H.G. Acres symposium has brought together leaders from across the power sector to exchange perspectives, explore emerging trends, and discuss the issues shaping the future of energy. As the industry works to modernize infrastructure, expand capacity, and deliver reliable, affordable power, collaboration has never been more important.

Whether you’re visiting from across the country or around the world, there are several excellent hotels located near the symposium venues. Getting Here

Conveniently located in downtown Toronto and easily accessible by car, public transit, taxi, and rideshare services. The venue is approximately a 15-minute walk from Union Station.

Public parking is available at the underground parking garage located at 17 Maud Street. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis and costs $20 CAD per day.

Attendees arriving by taxi or rideshare may be dropped off directly at the venue.
